ZTE to Introduce Eight New Smartphones for MWC 2012

more mobile world congress news! seems like ZTE is gunning  the top of the smartphone echelon with a flury of eight samrtphones that will be out in time for next week's global mobile devices comference. the annountcement connes after ZTE unveiled three tablets earlier this week.

accorthing to ZTE, the new smartphone will come with multi-core processors (including a quad-core flagship model), LTE radios, and the latest versions of Android and Windows Phone platforms.

The Chinese company hopes its new devices will help catapult it to the world’s top three handset providers three years from now.

this latest samsung zipel oven, model MC368GAAW5A, has one unique feature: it can be controlled by a smartphone app. why the need for a smartphone controller? the app allow you to choose from optimized setting for 160 different kind of dishes. the oven communicates with the smartphone via WiFi, which means you need a home router to use this. So far, the app is only compatible to Android smartphones with 800 x 480 resolution touchscreens.

Also, the oven communicates with the homeowner, letting them how many calories the dish inside has as well as its weight. It cleans easily, possibly all by itself, and is said to be energy efficient.

This latest Samsung Zipel oven is currently available in South Korea, with no word whether homes overseas will get their own.

Dyson DC39 Brings Ball Maneuvering Stateside

dyson provides an and to the awakward "vaccum dance" home onwers do. the company comes up with a so-called "ball"technologi that houses tremendous suction power and serves as a pivot for much easier maneuvering. The Ball does away with the traditional cartwheels we found in other vacuum cleaners. The wheels are awkward to use, having to move the device forward and backward multiple times just to turn it left.

It is also amazing to see how many components Dyson’s engineering team were able to fit in a rather volleyball-sized compartment. The Ball houses Dyson’s Radial Root Cyclone technology, enabling the vacuum to capture microscopic-sized dust.

One of its Ball vacuum cleaners is the Dyson DC39, which the company happily announces will land US shores mid-March. It is Dyson’s first canister vacuum with Ball technology, making it usable in furniture, curtains, and small spaces.

The Dyson DC39 Multi Floor and DC39 Animal will be available at Dyson.com and major retailers for $449.99 and $499.99 respectively.

Acer Ventures to Ice Cream Sandwich Territory with Liquid Glow

acer anounces its MWC bound handset- equipped with android ice cream sandwidh everybody is excited about. the acer liquid glow comes with a 3.7-inc WVGA display with 800 x 480 resulotion, 1GHz processor, and a 5-megappixel camera at the rear with LED flash, panoramic image capture,and “touch focus.” It also comes with Google’s latest voice-input technology for a continuous “open microphone”experience and stearming voice recognition.

on the outside, this curvy smartphone is cased in a glossy, soft-touch colored shell with crhome details for a more comfotable gref and fell.


The Acer Liquid Glow is expected to be available early summer 2012. Color choices include Sakura Pink, Alpine White, and Cat’s Eye Black.

Meanwhile in Malaysia, a 4G-equipped Car Coming Soon

automaker proton and wireless carrier yes, both based in malaysa, have announced their colaboration to come up with a line of 4G-connected cars. apart in providing WIFI hotspot for passenger the project aims to utilize the 4G connectivity for multiple automotive-related applications such as vehicle diagnostics, security, and GPS.

Yes is Malaysia’s leading wireless provider, covering over 65 percent of the country as well as the whole 960 kilometers of its North-South Expressway and a “large portion” of its East-Coast Expressway. We are not sure how these vehicles become 4G-connected overseas.
Proton and Yes claim the first vehicle developed from this 4G collaboration, the P3-21A sedan, will be available soon.

It will surely benefit newer devices to try and catch up with wath technology comes along the way. and now that 4G LTE my be considered as the next step is wireless mobile acces into the internet, smartphones my truly benefit as one of the intial adapters of this new technologi. for HTC they are coming up with their own version of the 4G LTE smartphone in the HTC velocity 4G.

the HTC velocity 4G is an android smartphne that probides support for the new  and up coming 4G LTE connectivity. this will provide the smartphone with the ability to acces the web at vastly faster speeds than before. it comes with a 1.5GHz dual core procesor, 1GB RAM, and up to 13GB of internal storage. it also comes with an 8MP rear camera that offers instant capture technology and a front camera for making video calls. The camera also has a 4.5 inch S-LCD touch screen and is also able to record and playback video in 1080p HD quality. Currently, the HTC Velocity 4G is available exclusively in Australia.  It is similar to HTC Vivid in the US which goes for around US$199 at AT&T.
